To whip up a bit more interest in Star Trek Online (really; is there a shortage of interest?) Namco Bandai coordinated themselves a clever Guinness World Record.
The Millennium Bridge in London hosted the largest ever gathering of Star Trek fans dressed in character on Valentine’s Day. That’s 99 fans dressed in Star Trek goodness. It’s the first time the feat had ever been recorded.
Rather nicely they got Giles Aston to judge the validity of the costumes. He’s a professional Jean-Luc Picard impersonator. I did not know there was such a thing.
Apologies for the quality of the pictures, they’re stolen from SFX as Namco Bandai PR accidentally forgot to include Geek Native in their press list!
