Do gamers listen to music while reading?

In April Geek Native had a speaker and headphone bundle to give away. To enter the competition people had to answer a poll: A you a gamer? Do you like to listen to music while you’re reading?

What do you think? Are gamers more likely to go for the multimedia sensation and listen while they read? Geek Native’s poll wasn’t scientific as it was attached to a competition but there were more than 150 responses and that’s enough to have some fun with.

It turns out most people like to listen to music while they read – but not by much. Is there a difference between gamers and none-gamers? Not really. 55% of gamers listen to music while reading and 55% of non-gamers do so too.

What do you do? Do you double down with both a book and the music playing? Or do you prefer to enjoy one at the time?
