Jim Burns is an artist with works on covers of books from George R R Martin, Neil Gaiman, Peter F Hamilton, Terry Pratcheet, Robert Silverberg, Joe Halderman and even Anne McCaffrey. The list goes on.
He’s worked on concept art and ideas for movies like Blade Runner and over the last 40 years is responsible for some iconic scenes. In his brand new collection – The Art of Jim Burns: Hyperluminal – we get to see his daring use of colour, the sensual undertones and diversity of his work.
Burns isn’t just the only non-American artist to have won a Hugo award; he’s won three.
Geek Native is lucky enough to have permission to showcase some of the art.
