I get “How to Train your Dragon” vibes from this in terms of visual style and even the set up. There’s a big, burly dad and in an awkward relationship with a scrawny son. There might even be a dragon or two.

At least there’s some similarities to begin with. By the time we get to the end there’s been plenty of surprises here – including the death of the 4th wall.
