There’s about two days left on the Kickstarter clock and the indie RPG Pasts, Personsa & Prophecies has made it past their $8,484 funding goal.
The pitch video introduces a lightweight, story focused RPG with an interesting use of prophecies to drive character development. This European blogger is struck by the “super radical” use of American English in the presentation too! Worth watching for that alone.
With a $20 pledge you’ll become a Tree Hugging Druid and pick up a PDF copy of the game (including the beta version due out in May) and for $30 ($12 shipping outside US) you’ll unlock the print copy. Warning! That’s the early bird price, if you’re slow, you’ll miss out.
Hunter Fox of Sly Fox Games needs the Kickstarter, in part, to fund the art. It’s nice to see some samples of his intent in the Kickstarter too. Tom Kyster is responsible for both illustrations below.
