Hi Andrew, yes, I know where this comes from – it is part of the Greisinger Museum which recently opened in Switzerland, the world’s biggest collection of Tolkien-related paintings, books etc. http://www.greisinger.museum/
The table and chairs itself were part of the film trilogy (LR) merchandise but never sold well ;) [too expensive] but man, don’t ask me about that _ring_.
Thanks Marcel! That looks like one impressive collection. I’ll have to revisit the site and see if it deserves a post of its own.
Well, if you want to talk about all first editions on every single Tolkien publication, all major artists (including Brother Hildebrandt and Angus McBride) and a hobbit hole built around it – sure thing :) Bernd Greisinger will be glad to help!
There’s a guy on Facebook who says this is his, not from a museum? Confusing.
