BBC America’s Pink Doctor Who 50th Anniversary TARDIS cake

To help celebrate Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary and to help Save The Day there is cake. In this case BBC America, who do a top-notch job at promoting Doctor Who, reached out to Pink Cake Box for a special cake.

You can see more of the cake over at Pink Cake Box’s site but in the pictures below you can see the Doctor popping out from the TARDIS for a quick look around. An impressive touch is that the TARDIS door is open; you can see inside.

So what’s inside the TARDIS cake? Is it bigger on the inside? It’s vanilla with raspberry chambord buttercream. The BeebUS was kind enough to send back a picture of how that looked.
