Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due out next year. The team have risked giving Captain a new look costume.
The risk? Fans tend to be picky about this sort of thing. Flames errupt on forums… but more importantly to film makers the merchandise calculations want costumes to be both new and popular.
The reason for the new look? This is Captain America in the era of S.H.I.E.L.D. This is the outfit he wears so that Nick Fury’s team recognise him as a friend. As per standard merchandise tactics you can expect him to change into this look mid-way through the flick too.
What do you think? Better than the original?

It’s based on the costume he wore after he came back from the dead and before he took over as Captain America again: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-hhQFnvigfOs/TarMypJ6hcI/AAAAAAAAABM/m4W75LL_TX8/s1600/steve-rogers-super-soldier-02.jpg
Although it looks more like he’s wearing one of those cheap halloween costumes with the fake muscles.
It is definitely worse than the previous one, not that I care. But are those fake ears?
