Making a Starman Christmas tree

This year some of the Geek Native team took a geeky approach to the Christmas tree. Let’s have a star on top. Let’s make this a famous geek star – let’s having a glowing Starman star.

The first step was easy and fun – buying a Starman from Lime Llama on etsy.

The second step was less fun but just as easy – buying a pack of circular LED spotlights. You get three. We only needed one.

The third step – oh, a bit of surgery, to unpick some of the stitching on Starman’s side and wiggling the LED into place.

The fourth step – attaching to our mini tree.
