Cavemaster was a successful Kickstarter project from Jeff Dee. The game positioned itself as a “stonepunk” RPG – playing on the steampunk evolution from cyberpunk.
Players could take on the roles of hunters, gathers, warriors, shaman and other stone age classes, the game would feature historitically accurate creatures alongside magic and other fantasy rules.
The funding drive was successful and now Cavemaster, through UNIgames, is already available as a PDF or Lulu print on demand. Dee and co-creator Talzhemir Mrr have landed support from Chronicle City and, as a result, the stonepunk game will see a print run. You can pre-order it here.
Geek Native is lucky enough to have access to some of the artwork that features in the stonepunk RPG.
Cavemaster is one of the first truly original RPGs to come along in a really long while – I got it through the Kickstarter and have just loved it!
