Fantastic Okami plush

Okami is Capcom game for the PlayStation 2 which features a wolf hero that’s become very popular among geeks. The name Okami, depending on how you write it, could mean “great god” or “wolf”. The wolf is called Amaterasu who is based on the Japanese sun goddess.

Melita Curphy, also known as Miss Monster, has made a plushy Amaterasu. She’s on sale at ebay and is attracting plenty of bids. The auction closes on the 15th of August.

The plush is made from a combination of cast resin, faux fur and the body is stuffed with plushy polyfill. So much of the beauty comes from Mel’s hand-painted decorations.
