Existential Crisis D&D is not DnD Next

I’m pleased to say that this blogger’s gaming groups have always talked through any change of game mechanics or change of game before the gamers turn up. In this video, I think that’s Jon’s biggest mistake. Shouldn’t ambush the players like this.

This video has been out for a few days. Thankfully, in that time no one’s mistaken it for DnD Next although I do wonder whether the crowd sourced wisdom approach to Dungeons and Dragons 5 is something of an existential publishing drama in its own right!
