Hawkin’s Bazaar for a geeky Christmas?

There’s a Hawkin’s Bazaar in the shopping centre near me. It was there last Christmas and then closed afterwards. Now it’s back again. If the strategy is only to be in bricks and mortar for the shopping season then that’s probably very clever given the current economic climate and the low low short term rental prices.

It’s a good thing the website is around all year. Hawkin’s seem to have put together a couple of videos in order to showcase their “economically” priced gadgets. These both seem like something you’d give to a young geek. It won’t matter terribly if they break them – even the Quatrocopter is only £30.
