Charity organisation War Child UK has partnered with tabletop accessory manufacturer UltraPro and video essayist Spice8Rack to run an official Magic: The Gathering fundraising drive for Jingle Jam 2026. The campaign, titled “Untap Love & Hope”, launches on 1 December 2026 alongside the wider two-week charity broadcast founded by The Yogscast.
Donors who contribute £35 or more to registered Jingle Jam fundraisers will receive access to the digital 2026 Games Collection, with proceeds supporting War Child’s emergency aid, child protection, and mental health programmes across global conflict zones.

Expanding Jingle Jam to the physical table
Jingle Jam has raised more than £31 million for youth charities since 2011, but the annual December marathon has traditionally focused on PC video games and Twitch streaming. Bringing UltraPro on board marks a deliberate move to engage the tabletop trading card community directly.
Georgia Paton, Gaming Partnerships Lead at War Child UK, said in a statement:
We are proud to be returning as a long-term strategic partner of Jingle Jam for the 2026 campaign with some of our biggest activations yet. War Child’s work ultimately aims to allow children to simply be children again, while equipping them with the tools they need to recover and reclaim their futures. Games are a huge part of that. From playing to process their trauma to game-based learning and raising funds to support this work with Jingle Jam, gaming is a fundamental part of what we do at War Child. Money raised through Jingle Jam will help our teams globally to respond to the urgent needs of children and families in conflict zones, while also allowing us to create safe spaces for young people, and provide specialist mental health support, education and the protection of children’s fundamental human rights.”

The role of UltraPro and Spice8Rack
UltraPro has served as the primary official licensee for Magic: The Gathering accessories since 2006, producing deck boxes, card sleeves, and playmats for Wizards of the Coast releases. Their sponsorship of “Untap Love & Hope” gives War Child direct access to local game store networks and card table culture.
Video essayist Spice8Rack will lead the digital side of the card gaming activation. Known for in-depth critiques of Magic: The Gathering mechanics and corporate strategy, their involvement gives the tabletop charity drive a prominent voice among Commander players and hobbyists.
The press announcement leaves it unclear whether UltraPro plans to supply physical charity playmats or exclusive gaming supplies alongside the digital £35 games collection, or whether their backing will focus on prize giveaways and stream production. Additional creator challenges will run throughout the event, including a dedicated “War Child Bingo” card with in-game milestones and a “JingleBuild” stream challenge that reflects real-world bomb shelter conversions into kindergartens.
