Concerts are showing a clear commercial trend in the geek world. Big business has clearly identified a reliable way to generate live-event revenue by turning popular screen properties into arena-scale musical experiences. Following on from the London dates for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the nationwide 2027 tour bookings for The Legend of Korra, Marvel Studios is now bringing its own massive intellectual property to the UK arena circuit.
Disney Concerts, in association with Marvel Studios, has announced the London leg of Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience. The live arena event is scheduled to take place at the Eventim Apollo on Thursday 11th February 2027.
The upcoming production features the Novello Orchestra performing live under the direction of conductor David Mahoney. The performance is framed around a custom-curated concert film that condenses narrative threads, characters, and themes from 23 films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a single evening. The musical program balances traditional orchestral scores with prominent pop and rock tracks featured in the films.
The concert showcases sweeping cinematic scores written by high-profile Hollywood composers including Alan Silvestri, Ludwig Göransson, Michael Giacchino, Danny Elfman, and Pinar Toprak. Alongside the classical arrangements, the orchestra will integrate mainstream licensed tracks, including AC/DC’s Back in Black and Blue Swede’s Hooked on a Feeling, as well as specialised novelty tracks such as James Gunn and Tyler Bates’ Guardians Inferno.
The production debuted in August 2024 at the Hollywood Bowl, where it was conducted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Music and Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel. The upcoming London booking follows a preliminary UK outing last year, which sold out two consecutive performances at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
Tickets for the London Eventim Apollo performance will go on sale to the general public on Friday 3rd July at 10 am, with distribution handled concurrently through Ticketmaster UK and Disney Tickets.
