The final Toy Story 5 trailer has finally dropped from Disney and Pixar, cinema tickets are on sale, and we also now have word of some fun new additions to the voice cast!
Joining Greta Lee, who plays new character Lilypad, we also have multi-platinum recording artist and six-time GRAMMY Award winner Bad Bunny (AKA Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) voicing a character called Pizza with Sunglasses. Perhaps more excitingly, another new addition is Alan Cumming, who will voice Evil Bullseye.
Here’s the official synopsis:
The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 5’, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack) and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?
It looks like a fun new challenge for the beloved set of toys many of us have followed since our own childhoods… over 30 years ago. And now I feel old.

Is Disney and Pixar flogging a dead horse with this film? Well, toys against tech might be a predictable direction for the franchise to go in, but it does also seem like this movie is going to be quite entertaining, so maybe it’s not quite ready to die yet.
And you’ll be able to watch Toy Story 5 when it’s released in cinemas on 19th June.
