Fantasy Flight Games has revealed details about its 2026 Convention Exclusive pack for the Star Wars: Unlimited trading card game. This premium set will debut at the UK Games Expo in Birmingham later this month.

The $100 (£80 approx) pack is set to anchor Fantasy Flight’s competitive and convention events until April 2027, covering more than 25 global gatherings. Centred around a criminal underbelly theme, this limited-edition box includes six iconic Underworld and Bounty Hunter units, all reimagined in a unique, alternate-art “grayscale” visual design. This announcement highlights the trading card game’s Year 3 block of product releases and includes popular characters from three different expansion sets, featuring cards from upcoming and yet-to-be-released editions.
The exclusive pack strategy focuses on giving players early physical access to game pieces several months before they become available in stores. The pack includes six variant cards featuring characters like Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, Cad Bane, Qi’ra, Jabba the Hutt, and the shapeshifting bounty hunter Zam Wesell, taken from A Lawless Time, the upcoming Ashes of the Empire, and the soon-to-be-announced Homeworlds expansion. While collectors can snag these cards early, Fantasy Flight Games has made it clear that any cards from Ashes of the Empire or Homeworlds will be banned from official Organized Play tournament decks until those sets are fully released to the public.
Tabletop publishers Asmodee and Fantasy Flight Games are using a popular community mechanic to attract people to their convention booths. They are offering a special promo card featuring Darth Vader, completely free for convention attendees. This card is part of the new Ashes of the Empire set and is a Sentinel unit designed for Villainy decks. The artwork, created by talented illustrator Vincent Dutrait, adds a unique touch. To get the card, attendees just need to join a short, guided live demo of the game at one of the designated spots.
The roll-out starts at the UK Games Expo at the end of May 2026 and will continue through a busy summer and autumn filled with major pop-culture events like San Diego Comic-Con, Gen Con, MCM Comic Con, and Essen Spiel in Germany. Fantasy Flight has mentioned that product distribution, purchase lines, and limits on how much can be bought may differ based on each event’s logistics. However, everyone is restricted to buying just one pack.
