Prime Video have just dropped the trailer for the finale of Good Omens; a single 90-minute episode that will draw the beloved series to the satisfactory conclusion fans have been dearly hoping for.
After a long delay (thanks to the abuse allegations against writer Neil Gaiman and how the rest of the show’s creators have had to circumnavigate that), this final episode will pick right back up in the emotional aftermath of season two’s finale, where we’ll once again be faced with the complicated relationship of Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and Crowley (David Tennant).
To quickly recap, Aziraphale chose Heaven over Crowley, leaving the poor demon behind on Earth – and now we’ll get to see exactly what that’s going to mean for all involved. Aziraphale is now the Supreme Archangel in charge of overseeing the Second Coming, and something tells me Crowley is going to scupper those plans.
The trailer itself looks great, and like it’s going to be one last wild ride for the sake of Heaven, Hell and the fate of all humanity. Watch the full trailer below:
The returning cast includes Doon Mackichan as Michael, Gloria Obianyo as Uriel, Quelin Sepulveda as Muriel, Liz Carr as Saraqael, Paul Chahidi as Sandalphon, and Derek Jacobi as The Metatron – with the addition of newcomer Bilal Hasna as Jesus.
And you’ll be able to watch the Good Omens finale when it debuts on Prime Video on 13th May.
