Titan Books has announced the upcoming release of the Dune: Bene Gesserit Tarot Deck and Guidebook, a fully illustrated 78-card deck set to arrive in early 2026.

Designed in partnership with the studio behind Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two, the deck aims to merge the mysticism of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi universe with traditional tarot archetypes. While movie tie-in merchandise is common, the thematic overlap between the Bene Gesserit sisterhood, known for manipulating bloodlines and foresight, and the practice of tarot reading makes for a logical pairing.
The deck features original artwork by Sarah Rain Hammond, with an accompanying guidebook written by Minerva Siegel. Siegel is a familiar name in the pop-culture tarot space, having previously authored guidebooks for decks based on Labyrinth and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
According to the product details, the deck utilises imagery from Legendary Pictures’ films. The Major and Minor Arcana will feature key characters such as Lady Jessica, Chani, and the Reverend Mother, as well as significant locations spanning the desert planet Arrakis to the industrial world Giedi Prime.
Visuals released ahead of the launch show an interpretation of “The Lovers” card, likely depicting Paul Atreides and Chani, and “The Chariot,” which appears to utilise the franchise’s distinct vehicle designs.
The set is timed to coincide with the franchise’s broader celebrations. 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of Frank Herbert’s original novel. However, fans looking to secure a copy will have a significant wait; the current publication date is listed for 6 January 2026 in the UK, Ireland, and Australia/New Zealand.

The publisher described the intent behind the deck in their announcement:
For the Bene Gesserit, plans may be measured in millennia. But your destiny is yours to choose as you enter the world of Dune through this tarot deck and guidebook. Whether you’re seeking perspective on a difficult decision, navigating changes in your life, or simply checking in, you can find company in major and minor arcana.”
The set will be released in a hardback box measuring 148 x 98mm and includes the 128-page guidebook for interpreting the specific Dune motifs applied to the cards.
