Mythbusters do the Doctor Who dance

Have the Mythbusters ever looked into any of the science on Doctor Who? Dunno. They’ve looked into sci-fi before, or, well, some of the real-world science around sci-fi films like Deep Blue Sea.

This video stars just one Mythbuster – the famous Adam Savage – a heck of a lot of electricity being pumped out by Telsa Coils, ArcAttack and the Doctor Who theme. Savage is in a Faraday cage, probably as a guest of ArcAttack and happy to prove the science, that a Faraday cage will protect you. That’s the same reason why sitting in a car in the lightening storm is a good idea, it’s not the rubber tires, it’s the Faraday cage effect the car produces.
