Beavis and Butthead are coming back

Huzzah. Beavis and Butthead are coming back. The one-time cult classic animation will be making a return to MTV.

In a bizzare twist MTV had Canadian child pop star Justin Bieber break the news in a tweet. I’m not sure why they thought Bieber was a good match for the show. Perhaps they’re trying to reach a “new type” of audience.

Good news, though, Beavis and Butthead are coming back (despite who breaks the news) and it’s expected that Mike Judge will be involved. The original series scored an impressive 200 episodes and ran from 1993 to 1997.
