The path to the Beyblade X World Championship will run through one of North America’s largest celebrations of Japanese pop culture this summer.
ADK Emotions NY Inc. and T-Licensing Inc. have announced that a special qualifying tournament for the Beyblade X World Championship will be held at Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
The high-stakes tournament, sponsored by Target, is scheduled for Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The competition offers attendees, aged 13 and older, the chance to be crowned the U.S. National Champion and secure a coveted, all-expenses-paid trip to Tokyo to compete in the Beyblade X World Championship finals.
The world finals are set to take place at the iconic Tokyo Tower on October 11 and 12, 2025. A representative from ADK Emotions NY said;
We’re excited to take the BEYBLADE X World Championship to one of the biggest anime and pop culture events in the U.S. this summer. With Target’s support, this tournament will unite Bey-fans in an epic atmosphere surrounded by some of BEYBLADE’s biggest fans.”
The Anime Expo qualifier will be held at Booth E-25, beginning at 10 a.m. PST. Registration opens at 9 a.m. PST on-site, with competition slots limited to the first 128 participants to sign up.
Contestants are encouraged to bring three of their own Hasbro BEYBLADE X tops. For those unable to bring their own, a limited selection of tops will be available to borrow. The final eight competitors will face off using three different tops in Hasbro’s BEYBLADE X Xtreme Battle Set Beystadium.
To prepare for the competition, aspiring Bladers can find the latest Beyblade X tops and stadiums at Target stores.
