One of the interesting TTRPGs I encountered at the press preview of UK Games Expo is Beyond Cataclysm’s Skies of Belief.

The Kickstarter preview is live, with a campaign launch expected this year.
Skies of Belief is a world fractured by an ancient sundering, and where ten distinct human cultures have arisen, each uniquely shaped by its environment and lingering supernatural abilities.
Thriving in a land barren of metals, these remarkable civilisations have pioneered alternative technologies and weaponry, mastering advanced ceramics, intricate glasswork, and even harnessing the power of solar energy. Amidst this diversity, the Global Republic has emerged with a mission to quell the conflicts between nations and unite these disparate peoples under the principles of peace, unity, and tolerance, deploying the player characters as Stewards to champion these noble goals.
The TTRPG is a low fantasy, yet with some subtle supernatural touches and a game where characters’ beliefs are tested in the way other games test skills.
Skies of Belief is about exploring other cultures, lands, and traditions, and does so through various modes of play. There’s even a solo mode.
The rules-light system, A.N.G.E.L.S. is built to use 2D8 with challenges done on just roll and doubles adding drama. There are true-to-life levels of threat, and yet in a game of diplomacy,y characters are unlikely to die.

The Kickstarter aims to fund a complete and whole core rulebook.
