The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender is a feature-length animation slated for October next year, and it’s been a long time coming since it was first announced in 2021.

Dave Bautista will voice the main villain, and Eric Nam will be Aang, but now we know that Dane Basco won’t voice Zuko.
In the original Avatar: The Last Airbender, the one-time Hook actor and Lost Boy was the voice talent of Prince Zuko. Later, in the sequel The Legend of Korra, Basco played General Iroh II.
Today, at MCM Comic Con in London and speaking on the Centre Stage, the voice actor was clear, saying,
They’re rumours… I’m not playing Zuko in the new movie”
On the same panel, in response to a question from a fan, Dante said he’d love to see Jake Long from the animated series American Dragon, which he voices, appear in Kingdom Hearts. They’re both Disney properties, after all.
Disney’s empire also includes Marvel, and the former breakdancer is all too aware of that. He was upfront about aspirations for landing a role in a superhero franchise. He said;
The Marvel [and] DC worlds are very cool to me”.
It’s expected that ReedPop organised convention will return in 2026, but we’re awaiting confirmation for dates and then the hotel rush.
