Radical 8 Games is set to showcase and sell the newly revamped Forks 2nd Edition at a convention for the first time at the UK Games Expo (UKGE). Described as a quick and engaging “daft fun gem” playable in about 10 minutes, attendees can find it at stand 3-607.
This second iteration of the card game, which was successfully Kickstarted last year to fund new artwork, features a retheme and updated rules. In an email to Geek Native, Mark from Radical 8 Games underlined that the changes are significant enough to give Forks 2nd Edition the feel of an entirely new game.
Forks 2nd Edition accommodates up to six players with an estimated playtime of 15 minutes. The gameplay involves players drawing three cards each round, selecting one to keep, and passing the remaining two to the player on their left. The complete rules are available for free online (PDF link).
While 700 Kickstarter backers have already received their copies, the UK Games Expo 2025 will mark the first convention where the card game will be available for purchase.
