Sadly, a behind-the-scenes powerhouse, Diamond Comic Distributors, is on very shaky grounds and may not recover. The latest podcast summary of the events was recorded at the start of the month in Star Wars Day and Bad Passwords.

This week, British publisher Rebellion Publishing is the latest company to take sensible steps not to get caught in any more fallout.
A new and non-exclusive deal with Lunar Distribution will supplement Rebellion’s current relationship with Diamond. Lunar now gets access to Judge Dredd, Best of 2000 AD, and I Am The Law.
Ben Smith, Head of Film, TV and Publishing for Rebellion, told the press,
We are thrilled to be working with Lunar and expanding the channels US comics stories can find our books in. Lunar have proven they are an invaluable addition to the Direct Market, now more than ever”.
Beginning with the June edition of the Lunar Catalogue, Rebellion will make its products available to Lunar retailers, with shipping slated to commence in August 2025. This move is designed to simplify how retailers around the world add ‘The Galaxy’s Greatest Comics’ to their monthly purchases, expanding the international readership for iconic characters such as Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, The Trigan Empire, and more.
Christina Merkler, Co-Owner, Lunar Distribution, added;
We are excited to welcome Rebellion Publishing to the Lunar family, a name synonymous with high-quality storytelling and innovative comics. This collaboration allows us to expand our offerings and bring Rebellion’s diverse catalog of graphic novels to our retail accounts. We are committed to supporting creators and publishers in delivering compelling narratives to comic fans around the world”.
The initial line-up of available titles showcases all six volumes of the bestselling ‘Best of 2000 AD’ series; titles from the new, reader-friendly ‘Essential’ line, including Essential Judge Dredd and Essential Judge Anderson; and Michael Molcher‘s Eisner Award-winning book, I Am The Law: How Judge Dredd Predicted The Future.
