Tremor Mezes describes themselves as a vagrant listener, and perhaps that’s why Bloc Mass isn’t getting the attention it might warrant.
The TTRPG is described as 1984 meets The Exorcist and Hellboy in The Lives of Others. The campaign needs only €1,000 to fund, and you can see progress on Kickstarter.

Bloc Mass plunges players into a chillingly atmospheric setting: a fictional Eastern Bloc country during the tense 1970s. The game centres on themes of Soviet-era dread, dangerous temptation, and the fallout from encounters with the supernatural. Players step into the shoes of “Channelers,” individuals irrevocably marked by contact with forbidden powers from a realm known as the Beyond. They are compelled to investigate and confront sinister forces threatening their community.
Bloc Mass promises a narrative-heavy experience driven by player choices and emphasising emotional weight and horror. Gameplay blends tense investigation with elements of paranoia and grim aesthetics, drawing inspiration from diverse sources to create a unique atmosphere described as “1984 meets The Exorcist” or “Hellboy in the world of The Lives of Others.” The focus is on telling demonic fables where political oppression intertwines with the lure of biblical evil, forcing players to navigate a world steeped in fear and secrecy.
Explicitly set in the fictional nation of Perema, the game portrays a society under constant surveillance and control, where access to basic comforts is limited and freedom is curtailed. Within this oppressive environment, unnatural events are systematically denied and suppressed by authorities. However, the Channelers cannot ignore the inexplicable phenomena they witness and experience, drawing them towards sinister presences and forcing them to confront demonic threats in scenarios reminiscent of ancient myths, folktales, and occult lore, ultimately aiming to save victims, bystanders, and perhaps even themselves.
You tell demonic fables in the late Soviet era, mixing political oppression with temptations of biblical evil. Players impersonate Channelers, drawn to twisted and inexplicable events and having a connection to fiends who influence the world despite the authorities’ attempts to suppress this kind of knowledge.
