The first trailer has dropped for Matt Palmer‘s Fear Street: Prom Queen, which is based on the beloved teen horror novel by R.L. Stine. It looks like it’ll be a fun addition to the Fear Street franchise!
The story kicks off with the introduction of prom season in full swing at Shadyside High, and there’s a few contenders for the prom queen crown.
“But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.”

Palmer’s film Calibre previously won best British film at the 2018 Edinburgh International Film Festival, and was also picked up by Netflix. When he’s not directing cool movies, Palmer also organises and runs All Night Horror Madness here in the ‘Burgh.
