Today’s exciting Alien: Earth news is that the show has just announced 11 new cast members, and we have the full list for you right here.
Joining the lineup will be Richa Moorjani (Never Have I Ever), Karen Aldridge (Severance), Enzo Cilenti (The Crown), Max Rinehart (Industry), Amir Boutrous (Good Omens), Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya (Midsomer Murders), Andy Yu (Fargo), Michael Smiley (Bad Sisters), Jamie Bisping (Mandy) and Tanapol Chuksrida (Thai Cave Rescue).
As a fan of Severance, I’m quite glad to see Karen Aldridge in particular coming onboard.
Previously announced cast include Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El – some of whom you can take a look at right here.
The series takes place “two years before the events of the 1979 film Alien in 2010 when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.“
The story’s characters are “caught in a conflict with the beginning of artificial intelligence and the competition among developers and users.”
