We whisked up this dangerous little happy 50th for Chaosium, but the publisher has out-teched us by launching a Discord server.
It’s a modern server with a lovely onboarding process. Discord is a little daunting if unfamiliar, but I suspect most people will manage.

What’s in it?
- Chaosium News: Never miss an update, announcement, or exciting reveal from Chaosium.
- RPG Discussions: Join dedicated channels to chat about the Call of Cthulhu, RuneQuest, Pendragon, and all things Chaosium TTRPGs with fellow enthusiasts!
- Board Games: Discover the publisher’s board game department and connect with other board game fans.
- Find Your Group in the LFG Forum: Improve your odds of finding players and Game Masters for your favourite Chaosium games. (Paid and unpaid).
- Stream of Chaos Community: Join the dedicated forum for their award-winning Actual Play team! Chaosium says it’s a chance to connect with performers, creators, and other fans and dive deeper into the content.
- Community Content Hub: This is a hub to connect with fellow creators, ask questions, tag Community Ambassadors for support, and share your work!
- Cult of Chaos: Become a part of Chaosium’s official Organized Play Program and discuss it here.
Discords are hard work, but Chaosium has a fan base to ensure that this instance of digital chanting is popular from the outset.
Infamously, Geek Native launched our Discord around lockdown time, and it has been locked in soft launch since then.
One popular feature on ours is as an aggregate news source with official news announcements from game publishers all pooling in real-time in Geek Native. Chaosium also have a news channel, so we’ve added that to Geek Native’s roundup.
