Over the last few days, Geek Native has been able to share lists of the hottest-selling RPGs and supplements from DriveThruRPG in 2023. We’ve been doing it one genre/setting at a time, with historical as the most recent. Some games, though, don’t so easily fit into such a category and are best labelled miscellaneous.
The standard disclaimer applies, though, and the publisher of these RPGs and supplements gets to decide whether their download counts as miscellaneous or not. You can imagine that many do, so we might see some familiar faces.

Mythic Game Master Emulator is, as the name suggests, a system to play any TTRPG without a GM or a gaming group.
Mythic’s oracle-style question resolution system revolutionized solo role-playing. The Second Edition of the Mythic Game Master Emulator updates the ground-breaking 2003 ruleset with essential new additions, a wide range of options to customize your adventures, and numerous refinements.
Perhaps with this, the observation that 2023 was a good year, so solo RPGs get some statistical rather than just anecdotal proof.
