The first trailer for anime series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft has just dropped, and it looks like it’s going to be pretty awesome!
The series stars Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Howard’s End) as the voice of our famous heroine herself, and has been developed by Legendary Television for Netflix with Crystal Dynamics.
Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft will follow Lara’s adventures after the events of the video game reboot trilogy.
Here’s the official description for the series:
Lara Croft, one of the video game world’s most iconic adventurers, makes her anime debut in an all-new series. Picking up after the events of the highly successful Tomb Raider video-game reboot trilogy, the animated series will chart the globetrotting heroine’s latest, greatest adventure. Twenty-five years after her first game appeared, Lara continues to explore new territory.
Writing and producing are Tasha Huo. Dmitri M. Johnson, Stephan Bugaj, Howard Bliss, with Jacob Robinson also overseeing the series as producers.
