Sophia Smut is a designer offering Enchanted Odyssey: Hearts Unveiled Across Realms as a series of D&D 5e adventures.
As a small indie project on Kickstarter, Gears of Time is one-shot 2 in the series and inspired by Verne’s Around the World in Eighty Days. The Kickstarter has hit its goal and has two weeks left to run.
In the adventure, the player characters find themselves in a steampunk and brass city. There are clockwork puzzles to solve, the Mechanist’s Challenge and the Riddle of the Timekeeper’s Heart to defeat.
There’s also possible romance with one of the brass city’s characters, some of whom have mysteries.
But this is no ordinary journey. As you traverse enchanted forests, clockwork cities, floating isles, and ancient realms, you’ll encounter more than just riddles and mysteries. Romance will bloom amidst the challenges, as your relationships with captivating characters deepen and intertwine with the unraveling secrets.
Gears of Time is available as a reward for just $1, but as several backers have, you can offer $5.
Alternatively, $19 is enough to get the paperback edition of the adventure in black and white. $39 backers get the colour edition.
$69, an interesting price for romance in the Clockwork City Kingdom, offers the hardback as an award.
The top tier, which has almost sold out, gives $250 backers the chance to become an NPC in the fantasy.
Sophia estimates a December 2023 delivery for backers.
