The Gridman world of giant monsters and misfit heroes is smashing a path to the big screen with the latest anime in the series. Gridman Universe is due out in March and has a new trailer.
SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon cast returns for this feature-length directed by Akira Amemiya at studio Trigger.
Gridman is a collaboration between Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions, the latter of whom created Ultraman.
We’ve had an SSSS.Gridman film already, and before Universe reaches the big screen, there will be a compilation SSSS.Dynazenon feature-length too.
The synopsis isn’t easy to get to, but this Tsuburaua branded site says;

In the classroom after school, Yuta Hibiki repeatedly drew and erased Gridman in his notebook that he vaguely remembers.
This world was once created and destroyed by a single girl.
This girl’s soul was saved a hyper-agent Gridman from another dimension, a monster with a heart that she has created, and Yuta and his friends.
Yuta moves up to the second grade of high school and is placed in a different class from Rikka and decides to confess his feelings to her.
Their daily life in such a peaceful world begins to crumble with a roar.
