The anime of toufu’s fantasy comedy Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero now has a teaser trailer and visual.

Seven Seas have been publishing the manga since August last year and describe it;
The Demon Lord has been defeated by a brave warrior, but is destined to arise again! Ten years later, he emerges early from his slumber to exact his revenge. However, he returns to find that neither the world nor the legendary hero are what they once were. Can the powers of darkness triumph over…a shut-in slob?
The anime is about a year away, the trailer suggesting a premiere in 2023. It’s also an introduction to Max’s friends; Fred, Leo, and Yulia. I know those armours don’t quite match up in terms of protection, but perhaps we’ll be surprised and pleased with the curveball plot and character twists.
My Next Life as a Villainess’ Keisuke Inoue will direct. Naomi Ozora (Hana Uzaki in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) will voice the Demon Lord.
