Sigil Entertainment makes S5E a kickstarted 5e-powered Supers game.
Today, Pinnacle Entertainment Group has announced a new partnership to bring S5E and other Sigil brands to Savage Worlds.
Aaron Acevedo, who has worked as PEG’s art director, will guide the process as the Sigil President. Aaron said;
I couldn’t be happier with this merger, Pinnacle is one of the best companies in the industry. I’m honored to join forces with Shane, Jodi, and the rest of the team, and can’t wait to bring Pinnacle’s award-winning properties to 5E.
I note that Aaron says “merger, “even if the announcement says “partnered”.
Jodi Black, Pinnacle’s Chief Operating Officer, added;
Bringing Sigil into the fold just made sense. We’ve worked with them forever, and sharing some of our team members with each other helps both companies continue to grow in exactly the right ways.”
In related news, Sigil is also splitting off a new division. The company has been helping RPG publishers like Paizo and Onyx Path brings their games to digital life on virtual tabletops. That part of the company will be led by Dr Amy Bliss Marshall, who will become Sigil Services President.
Dr Marshall said;
The Team and I are thrilled about having more space to grow! This means more resources to devote to pushing virtual tabletops like Roll20 and Foundry VTT to create the most enjoyable and easy to use online TTRPG experiences. We are driven to bring the games you love to immersive life for our clients and will continue doing so.”
It’s expected new projects from the partnership will be announced before the end of the year.
