Vice Press and Bottleneck Gallery have three versions of an officially licensed Batman ’89 print by Florey.
Batman by Florey will be available only from 1 pm EST/6 pm BST on 12th May and the timed edition only until 6 pm BST on Sunday 15th May.
There’s a third version too, one with a yellow frame that’s designed to invoke Trading Card designs.
The ’89 Batman is Michael Keaton’s Batman, which was controversial at the time, but remains one of the best yet. The scene in which Batman drops dangerously down from the rafters in the chemicals building stands out and it’s that moment captured on the posts.
Florey is an Australian artist who’s worked with Marvel, DC and Namco-Bandai.
