Short film: The Bolt Connection

Gangster robots in a sci-fi 60s noir sow death and destruction as a heist takes a turn.

The Bolt Connection isn’t a new film; it’s been on Vimeo for two years and as a staff pick. Geek Tyrant resurfaced it and Geek Native copied. It’s easily a good enough animation to share.

It’s also pretty violent. You could argue there are Wizard of Oz touches here, robots and hearts, after all. But it’s more like Terminator when it comes to the murder.

The animation was directed by Nicolas Lebas, Mathilde Dourdy, Maurine Lecerf, Shih-Hui Pan, Claire Cartier and Thibault Grunenberger and was part of a Graduation Year project.
