FeralGames’ The Dungeon Gits – Heroes of Fallowgrave funded in hours and buckled up because that means they are coming.
In the game, based in part on Space Gits, you awaken on a corpse pit in a dungeon. It’s a hex crawl from there. You can join in or read more from the pitch page.
There will be three editions of The Dungeon Kits; PDF, softcover and a Kickstarter exclusive hardback. The game will be black and white, all-in-one, but subject to some geographic restrictions. Specifically, that Kickstarter Exclusive will only ship to the US and UK, not mainland Europe or elsewhere.
Dungeon Gits is an OSR RPG with a lifepath system to create crunchy and complex characters in danger of quick and brutal deaths.
The game has skills, talents and blessings, with rules for gear and weapons and a mana system for magic. There’s also the setting. The Land of Fallowgrave, where mercenaries like you are used but hated because they’re needed.
You are part of a mercenary troop; the other troop members are here with you, awakening on a pile of rotting corpses. To reach the world above, you will need to navigate a dungeon; it’s going to be a long day, and on top of all that, there is a strange groaning coming from the darkness beyond.
The PDF and accompanying stretch goals are rewards for any supporters who are back at £10 or more. The GM kit is the £15 reward.
At £20, you get a code to pay print and postage on the softback, which might be the same again and the PDF of Dungeon Gits and DM Kit.
The Kickstarter exclusive and signed hardback until it sells out, unlocks at £30.
