Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These has a new trailer as it readies for season three.
The anime has a history of merging cinema with TV. Season one had 12 episodes, which had an in-cinema launch and then followed on TV. Season two did three feature-lengths, first on cinema, then broke them up for TV, and now season three will launch with cinema showings.
Previously, Crunchyroll has aired Legend of the Galactic Heroes as the anime ran on Japanese TV. Funimation did the English dubs later.
Crunchyroll is currently running the second series, but only since September. It’ll hopefully, for fans, get the forthcoming series too.
