The twist in My Next Life as a Villainess isn’t just that the hero is a woman, rather than a previously nerdy young man, but that she’s reincarnated as the villain.
Caterina doesn’t want to be the villain, though, and it turns out just being nice to everyone might not be enough. My Next Life as a Villainess as an IR Rating of Average and season one wrapped without many loose ends. However, the show did well, and so there will now be a sequel.
The first season of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! ran on Crunchyroll as the anime was broadcast in Japan.
Season two will air in Japan in July, but Crunchyroll is yet to confirm they’ve picked the title up.
