Building the Friday the 13th PlayStation 4 controller

This custom Dualshock 4 controller was created by /u/Scourge_of_Carpathia and shared to Reddit. It’s a little freaky.

Scourge says that it was fairly easy to get the controller open; 5 screws with 4 on the back and 1 inside.

The curing process took 7 days. It only took one coat to turn the controller white but it couldn’t be touched for a week. Adobe Illustrator was used to make a trace of the mask from Freddy vs. Jason and then scaled so the chevrons would fit the controller.

A number of different brown and black washes were used to give lots of shades of colour and that real “been through hell and back” look.
