The nerdy bartender is Stacey Roy who, with RP WhaBam, has featured on Geek Native before. We usually see Stacey mixing cosplay with drama and some great special effects. The nerdy bartender is a new direction for the channel and I rather like it. In this video, while wearing a TNMT top, Roy shows off […]
Fainting April O’Neil: TMNT trailer
There you have it; the first trailer for the Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What do you make of it? This geek has concerns. I can accept some meddling with the back story – after all you need to adapt things for films. I don’t have a problem with Guardians of the Galaxy being […]
British Ninja Turtles
Let’s drop “Teenage” from the title because these British ninja mutants don’t sound teenage at all. They sound safely middle aged. You might even suspect they sound rather English too but wait to the end of the video before you decide. This video was creathed by Paul Benton about a year ago. Since then he’s […]
Teenage Mutant Koopa Troopas
You might have seen Mario Bros’ Koopa art mashedup with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle art before. James Farr has taken it a step further with this TMNT / Super Mario Bros homage and made a whole animation! How many references did you spot?
Cyborg Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
One of the first RPGs I really got into in a big way was Palladium Book’s TMNT RPG. I loved the fact you could pick an animal, spend you bio-points to build a mutant and then start the usual character gen process. Talk about control. These Turtle Tech illustrations from deviant artist Justin Currie get […]

This is a post from 2013’s Superhero Week. If you want to check out other superhero-themed goodies then pop over to the Superhero Week […]
Sewer Jedi – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The deviant artist Q Dog2009 wisely writes; In a sewer a long long time ago, in a New York City far far away… a group of turtles learnt the path of the force and became Jedi! to face the danger of Oroku Vader the ninja Sith Lord…. or something like that. Hmm. Perhaps there’s an […]
Dude, street art turns Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3D
This impressive piece of street art was probably done entirely in chalk. It looks like London too. If you look into the sewer you’ll be able to the see the Oxford Street sign stuck in the green “waters”. There must be some skill in being able to get the angles right to suggest 3D and […]

Holly Wood – geek icons as wooden carvings
The French design boutique La Souris sur le Gateau have deployed some heavy weight CGI skills to remodel some iconic geek figures as if they were wooden statues. The project was speared by Tony and Emmanuelle and shows everyone from Darth Vader to Sonic. My question; is that last helmet Shreader from Teenage Mutant Ninja […]
