The BBC have confirmed they will publish Doctor Who: The Adventure Games as a four part series on the website. The first adventure can be downloaded for either the PC or Apple. Dr Who – The Beast Below trailer

April 7, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

In case you’ve had a busy week, like me, and you’ve not had a chance to watch the trailer for The Beast Below – here it is. Unless, that is, you’re like my Dundee friends and consider these trailers to be spoiler rich nasties and think the BBC should be shot for running them anytime […]

The Smilers are a Doctor Who monster from Steven Moffat’s “THe Beast Below” Doctor Who episode. The Beast Below is Amy Pond’s first trip in the TARDIS and the 11th Doctor’s second episode. The pair travel to Starship UK where the British people search space for a new home. It’s Amy who encounters the Smilers […]

Doctor Who – new The Eleventh Hour clip – the deadly duckpond

March 31, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

CBBC – that’s Children’s BBC – ran a new The Eleventh Hour clip today. It’s a reminder that Dr Who continues to be seen by many as a children’s show. No bad thing if this helps the funding and lures in the audiences we need to keep the show going. In this clip a deadly […]

New Tardis interior pictures

March 30, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The Radio Times has showcased the new look Tardis. It’s easy to explain the new look; at the end of Series 4 we saw the Tardis crashing down towards the Earth. We might expect a bumpy landing and the need for some redecoration! It’s a familiar feel; yet different. It’s almost the middle ground between […]

Doctor Who clip: Vampires in Venice

March 28, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I’ve been to Venice and the city is a great choice for both vampires and Doctor Who. There is a risk of spoilers below but the episode is called Vampires in Venice. I’ve mixed feelings about this clip. I think they’re erring up towards the positive. I like the William Hartnell clip. “Tell me the […]

Doctor Who clip: First minute of The Eleventh Hour

March 28, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I was under the impression that the BBC were going to give us the first 60 seconds of the Eleventh Hour. I’ll have to go back and re-read their blog post. What we’ve got is the first 43 seconds. I feel as if we’re due another 17 seconds! This is the first of a few […]

BBC America’s Doctor Who series 5 trailer

March 22, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The early releases of this online trailer where geo-tarded so you had to be in the USA to watch them. Clearly, that didn’t last long. What we have here is an action orientated teaser for series 5 Doctor Who. Actually; it’s not all about the action – quite a bit seems to reflect the Doctor’s […]

More official 11th Hour Doctor Who pictures from the BBC

March 22, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The BBC have released more teaser stills from the Eleventh Hour (for the 11th Doctor) opening episode of Series 5(1) of Steven Moffat’s Doctor Who. If you sneaked a peak at the captured TV teaser clip then these stills add further evidence/speculation to certain first encounters. Still not sure about that skirt, though.
