The Borderlands 2 launch trailer and bungee jump

September 17, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood 1 Comment

Borderlands 2 is nearly here. I’ve been busy blasting at Handsome Jack’s face in the hope to win something. If you’re braver than me and living in London then you could always try and jump off a crane.

Borderlands 2: Play Mount Jackmore and win stuff

September 14, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Mount Jackmore is a new online game, that’s not just free to play, but gives you a chance to win Borderlands 2 loot – including the Limited Edition Loot Lockers. These Loot Lockers are, like the rest of the collectible Borderlands 2 stuff, are now very rare, highly sought over and worth fighting for. The […]

Ultra rare Borderlands 2 Top Trumps

August 23, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Tempted to pre-order Borderlands 2? It’s due out in September. Perhaps you’ve pre-ordered it already. I’ve not. I’m still wrestling. News of ultra rare Borderlands 2 Top Trumps may tip me over the edge though. The “Guns Guns Guns” pack contains 30 cards, all Borderland 2’s fiendish weapons, and will never be on sale elsewhere. […]

The Wimoweh (In The Jungle) Borderlands 2 trailer

July 12, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I’d describe Borderlands as having an interesting blend of cheeky violence with brutal survivalism humour. The Wimoweh trailer reassures me that 2K Games and Gearbox have everything in hand. You might well remember “Wimoweh” as the “In the Jungle” song… but would probably not expect to hear it in Borderlands!

What’s inside the Borderlands 2 Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s and Loot Chest Editions?

May 17, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood 3 Comments

Amazingly the post is a look inside – take a breah – the Borderlands 2 Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition. At this point I can’t even tell you whether that’s 2K Games’ Borderland humour or whether “Borderlands 2 Deluxe Vault Hunter’s Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition” […]

Borderlands 2 Premiere Club

February 25, 2012 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Borderlands 2 launches on September 21st across the world or a few days before that, on the 18th, if you’re in the States. If you pre-order the game then you’ll get access to the Borderlands 2 Premier Club. Borderlands was a surprise hit for me. I really enjoyed it. I’m not in the shoot and […]

E3: BioShock Infinate trailer

June 10, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Just when you thought all the best trailers from E3 had dried up – Geek Native manages to dig up 2K and Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinate teaser. This is expected out in 2012 and will be for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If it comes out late enough in the year then it may […]

Duke Nukem Forever trailer: would you still hit it?

January 23, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I think we can sum up the Duke Nukem Forever with the familiar mantra of “guns, girls and explosions”. And aliens. Aliens and humuor. It’s an interesting mix. I’m in two minds about Duke Nukem; one half respects the nostalgia and the second half would needs more RPG juice to make picking this up worthwhile. […]
