Seems that Starz Media’s awesome looking Spartacus: Blood and Sand isn’t the only production that’s looking to take the 300, a touch of Rome, some sex and some gladiator action and mix it all around. Acquire has a new game coming out on the PSP called Kentoushi: Gladiator Begins that looks to be doing exactly […]

Transformers: War For Cybertron Trailer
Check out the trailer for the new Transformers game coming to Wii, PS3, XBox and Windows this summer
Funky stop motion Tatsunoko vs Capcom commercial
I’m not a fan of cross-genre or ‘guest appearance’ beat ‘em ups. They seem to wreck the continuity of the game, messing with the mythos and shamelessly cashing in on fans loyalty to certain names. I’m not even that much of a fan of beat ‘em ups in the first place. I don’t think Tatsunoko […]
Killmoves trailer from Aliens vs Predator
There’s no way to describe this trailer as anything other than symphony of blood soaked death. It’s called the “killmoves” trailer and it lives up to it’s name. Want to see a quick blast of death from the forthcoming (February) Aliens vs Predator game? It’s out for consoles and PC so you get to pick […]
Tracks & Vehicles trailer for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing
I’m still in two minds over this game. On one hand Mario Kart is a lot of fun. This looks like it could be just as much a giggle. On the other hand; it’s a certain style that makes Mario Kart fun and I’m not so sure it can be easily re-created. What I do […]
English language trailer for Final Fantasy XIII
There are a number of good things about this trailer; the Leona Lewis song isn’t one of them though. I’m more interested in the character dialog than a reality TV show star’s mantra in the background. They need to turn it down. It’s also worth noting that, shockingly, Final Fantasy XIII won’t be exclusive on […]
Wii Sniper Rifle ships next week
Do we need a sniper rifle for Wii games? Hardware manufacturer CTA thinks so. Having already produced a £25 “Sure Shot Rifle” CTA have presumably tested the market and seen the need. Although it’s slightly odd that the gaming accessory is coming out on the wrong side of Christmas. The sniper rifle is currently only […]
Video trailer for Bayonetta’s European launch
Today’s the day that Bayonetta hits the shelves in the UK. On schedule SEGA Europe have posted the official launch trailer. Its easy to see why fan sites such as Geek Native are frothing over the game. Doesn’t it look good? Wonder if the game play is as excellent.
No more Final Fantasy?
There may be no more Final Fantasy, not as we know the series, after Final Fantasy XII. After having already publicly discussed taking development of the next Final Fantasy away from Japan and giving it to Western developers Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada says the whole series needs something new. Once again we can turn […]
Lengthy Ar Tonelico III trailer hits the web
This is an awfully long – 4:30 plus – trailer for the forthcoming JRPG Ar Tonelico. It’s also quite loud so I’d nudge your volume downwards. The trailer shows off glimpses of most aspects of the game; the cut-scenes, costumes, battle stances, attacks and even wandering around.
