To mark International Women’s Day, Wizards of the Coast will sell Secret Lair boxes for $49.99 and give $25 for each sale to the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (in the States).
The set includes five legendary creature cards which will make the purchase attractive to Magic: The Gathering players, especially those who like their Commanders to have upgraded aesthetic qualities.
The range of special cards for the one-off sale event includes a Foil Borderless Alt-Art Captain Sisay, a Foil Borderless Alt-Art Meren of Clan Nel Toth, a Foil Borderless Alt-Art Narset, Enlightened Master, a Foil Borderless Alt-Art Oona, Queen of the Fae, and a Foil Borderless Alt-Art Saskia the Unyielding. In other words; powerful women from the Magic mythos.
The art, as well, is by female illustrators and includes Mila Pesic, Livia Prima, Cynthia Sheppard, Anna Steinbauer, and Magali Villeneuve.
The catch? The Secret Lair: International Women’s Day set will be available for 24 hours only.
