Xenomorph made from gingerbread

We’ve had some cool gingerbread discoveries’ in Geek Native’s food section before. There’s been gingerbread dice, a gingerbread tardis and this incredibly impressive gingerbread Smaug.

Now the dragon has a rival; an Alien.

Baked by Norwegian cake designer Carolina Eriksson this xenomorph uses especially hard homemade gingerbread. I imagine the hard gingerbread isn’t just useful for helping the sculpture hold its weight but will punish anyone cheeky enough to make a bite.

There’s an iron skeleton in there, and that’s what enables the alien to be in such a dramatic pose. Melted sugar is used to stick everything together.
