The SF Masterworks series is so important it has its own Wikipedia page. Back in 1999 Millennium started to pick the very best of sci-fi from the 1950s for reprint. It’s now run by Victor Gollancz and continues on its mission.
The original list was described as amazing by Ian M Banks. In this competition you’ve got the chance to win five of the books. These are five sci-fi classics that the experts recommend you read. They are;
- Lucius Shepard’s Life During Wartime
- Ursula LeGuin’s The Word for World is Forest
- Jack Vance’s Night Lamp
- Arkady and Boris Strugatsky’s Hard To Be A God
- Robert Silverberg’s Downward To The Earth
To win all five begin by logging into the widget below (so we can contact you) and answering the question. This will earn you some entry points. Each point is a chance of being picked. Really want to win? Check the widget after leaving a comment to see if any new missions have appeared.
