How to make your own xenomorph eggs

Want to leave some alien eggs lying around in the kitchen just to freak out the flatmate? Got a sci-fi horror coming up and need some suitable grub? Perhaps a cooking-meets-art challenge is your thing? No? Just want to see something cool?

Kitchen Overload has the steps necessary to make these xenomorph eggs. It’s too complex for me to understand but I’m told the process is fairly straight forward. I think it uses eggs, a cucumber and magic. I’m told it’s not magic but actually a cinnamon stick and a star anise.
